Randy Seidl, CEO and board member of Rain Enhancement Technologies (NASDAQ: RAIN):
Randy Seidl is a public company CEO, board director, executive leader, community builder, advisor, and investor with a track record of building enterprise value at both emerging-growth and Fortune 500 technology companies by leveraging his experience in strategic leadership, go to market, and extensive executive relationship network. He has served as CEO and as a director of Rain Enhancement Technologies Holdco, Inc. (NASDAQ: RAIN) since January 2, 2025. He founded and continues to serve as Chairman of Sales Community since 2020, Top Talent Recruiting since 2016, and Revenue Acceleration since 2013. From 2009 to 2013, Mr. Seidl served as SVP/GM of Hewlett Packard’s Americas and $9B U.S. Enterprise Group leading a team of over 4000, was recognized as a “Channel Chief” by CRN Magazine for his work transforming HP’s channel, and received the Americas Legend Award for upgrading his team and transforming the sales culture. From 2006 to 2009, he served as SVP/GM of Sun Microsystems’ $5B North America business and as Vice President/General Manager for the Financial Services Area, transforming his team from the worst performer in the US to the #1 global selling unit. From 2004 to 2006, he served as VP/GM of the East Region at StorageTek (acquired by Sun) where he also transformed his team from worst to first in North America. From 2003 to 2004, he served as CEO and director at Permabit (acquired by Red Hat), from 2000 to 2003 he was Co-Founder and EVP of GiantLoop, and from 1996 to 1999 he was Chairman and CEO of Workgroup Solutions (acquired by Advizex). He began his career at EMC Corporation as employee #33, holding various executive positions including VP of Open Systems Sales, played a vital role in EMC’s international expansion, frequently achieved sales results ranking him #1, and was one of the early adopters to lead the channel expansion.

He has been fortunate to have been mentored by Bill Campbell (Silicon Valley legend), Greg Brown (CEO Motorola Solutions), Bob Reynolds (CEO Putnam Investments), Jack Connors (Boston legend), Walter Brown (sales management guru), and David Nour (Relationship Economics). Besides investing in 25+ private equity and venture capital funds, he also has a portfolio of 50+ private companies. In 2021, he co-authored Your Go To Sales Advisor.

Mr. Seidl has served as a director of Ondas Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: ONDS) since 2020, where he also chairs the compensation committee. Since 2015, he has served as a director of Data Dynamics and since 2016 as a director of ISG. He previously served as a director of Datawatch Corporation (2015–2018, NASDAQ: DWCH, acquired by Altair). He holds the American College of Corporate Directors’ Masters Professional Certification, is a National Association of Corporate Directors Fellow, attended the Stanford Law School Directors’ College, and continues to serve on advisory boards. He has attended executive education programs at Stanford, Harvard, and MIT. He is also a member of Chief Executives Organization (CEO) and Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO-Southwest Florida, New England, and Vail), chaired the top ranked international YPO Harvard parent-Teen Business Program, and is active with several non profits. Mr. Seidl is a graduate of Boston College’s Carroll School of Management where he serves as a Trustee Associate on the Board of Trustees and has co-chaired several record breaking reunions. Randy lives with his wife in Naples, Florida and is very proud of his 4 children Besides his family, he enjoys helping others, BC sports, Alabama and Duke baseball, golf, skiing in Beaver Creek, tennis, pickleball, and rugby.
